Who are we?

Casa Frijol was born after a trip to Guatemala, where we met a craftswoman in San Juan La Laguna. We fell in love with her weavings, her patience, and her way of creating.

Each bag is handmade - no machines, no mass production. These are unique pieces made with time, love, and tradition.

Why do we do it?

We discovered these textiles while traveling. They touched something deep within us.
There’s something truly special about wearing something with soul - something that comes from a real place, made by real people.
We wanted to bring that beauty to women who are looking for something different.

How do we work?

We’re starting with just a few designs and limited quantities.
We want to do things right - without rushing it.

The language of color

Guatemala speaks in pigments of a thousand shades: turquoise evoking the lake, fuchsia celebrating the bougainvillea, and orange recalling volcanic sunsets. This vibrant palette shapes our designs and reflects the essence of the brand: joy of living, love, and the courage to stand out.
